1. Use a Quick Reply in the first DM

Set your first Instagram message up like this:

  1. Add a Text Message.

  2. Add a Button.

  3. Set the button as a Quick Reply.

  4. Send your link in the next message, not in the first button.

Example

“Thanks for commenting! Want me to send you the guide?”

Button: “Yes, send it”

After they tap the button, send the link in the next message.

You can set this up in Dealism Automation.

2. Change your Comment replies regularly

Don’t use the exact same public reply for every comment for too long. Too many identical replies can look repetitive to Instagram.

Switch between replies such as:

  • Sent it. Check your DMs.

  • It’s on the way 👀

  • Done! Take a look at your inbox.

  • Just sent you the details.

Dealism will soon support multiple randomized Comment replies. Until then, update the reply manually from time to time.

3. Slow down when comments spike

A Post or Reel can suddenly receive lots of comments in five minutes or one hour. This may cause Instagram to temporarily limit automated activity.

For each Post or Reel, keep your Automation below:

  • 400 public Comment replies per hour.

  • 400 opening DMs per hour.

This only applies to the first automated DM. Once someone replies, the rest of the DM conversation can continue normally.

If you’re getting close to the limit, pause the Automation and turn it back on after activity slows down.

Good to know: a user only triggers once

The same Instagram user can only trigger the same Automation once.

They also won’t trigger it again by commenting multiple times on the same Post or Reel, or by repeating the same Story interaction.

If you’re testing:

  • Don’t keep commenting from the same Instagram account.

  • Use another account that hasn’t triggered the Automation.

  • Double-check that your Automation is live and connected to the right content.

If a new user still doesn’t receive the message, follow the Automation troubleshooting guide.
