How it works

How to Use the Calculator

Enter messages sent

Use the total audience included in this broadcast.

Add messages delivered

Enter how many successfully reached recipients.

Enter reads, replies, and clicks

Use data from the same campaign and reporting window.

Add opt-outs

Include recipients who unsubscribed or asked to stop.

Review the health score

Use it as a summary, then inspect every component rate.

Record the result

Compare it with a similar broadcast after changing one meaningful variable.

Do not combine unrelated campaigns. Different audiences, goals, and reporting periods make the result harder to interpret.

The calculation

Formulas Used by This Calculator

Delivery rate

Messages delivered ÷ Messages sent × 100

Read rate

Messages read ÷ Messages sent × 100

Reply rate

Replies ÷ Messages sent × 100

Click rate

Link clicks ÷ Messages sent × 100

Opt-out rate

Opt-outs ÷ Messages sent × 100

The example 1,000 sent, 940 delivered, 680 read, 85 replies, 120 clicks, and 8 opt-outs produces 94% delivery, 68% read, 8.5% reply, 12% click, and 0.8% opt-out. Use the individual rates—not an assumed weighting formula—to decide what to investigate.

Check the denominator

Why Your Dashboard May Show a Different Read Rate

This tool divides messages read by messages sent. Some providers divide reads by delivered messages. In the example, 680 ÷ 1,000 is 68%, while 680 ÷ 940 is about 72.3%. Neither is automatically wrong; confirm the denominator before comparing results.

Directional, not official

What Your Broadcast Health Score Means

The score summarizes one broadcast and helps locate weakness in delivery, attention, action, conversation, or audience retention.

  • Not Meta's official phone-number quality rating
  • Not a WhatsApp compliance certificate
  • Not a delivery guarantee
  • Not a conversion or revenue score
  • Not proof that one campaign caused a business result
  • Not a fair comparison between unrelated audiences

How to Interpret Common Patterns

PatternPossible interpretationWhat to investigate
Low deliveryToo little of the audience received the messageContact quality, eligibility, delivery errors
Strong delivery, weak readsThe message arrived but did not earn attentionTiming, sender recognition, expectations
Strong reads, weak clicksReaders saw too little reason to actOffer, CTA, destination
Strong reads, weak repliesThe message did not invite conversationQuestion, reply prompt, relevance
Good engagement, high opt-outsShort-term response may damage audience healthFrequency, segmentation, consent
Healthy engagement, weak salesEngagement did not become an outcomeFollow-up, qualification, booking or checkout
Match the metric to the goal

Which Metric Matters Most?

Website traffic

Prioritize link clicks and conversions after the click.

Sales conversations

Prioritize reply rate and the quality of conversations.

Announcement

Read rate may matter most when no action is required.

Audience retention

Watch opt-outs even when clicks are strong.

Revenue

Track purchases, qualified leads, and bookings outside the score.

Before calculating

Check Your Data

  • Use one broadcast and one reporting window.
  • Confirm unique versus total clicks.
  • Use consistent reply and opt-out definitions.
  • Remember that disabled read receipts can reduce read data.
  • Sent should be at least delivered, and delivered at least read.
  • Avoid negative values and a zero sent count.
A fair comparison

How to Compare Two Broadcasts

Compare broadcasts with similar goals, audiences, markets, message types, sizes, and reporting windows.

  1. Record the baseline result.
  2. Choose the component rate tied to the campaign goal.
  3. Change one meaningful variable in the next broadcast.
  4. Wait for the same reporting window.
  5. Recalculate with the same definitions.
  6. Check improvement without a harmful rise in opt-outs.
Before the next send

What to Improve

Weak delivery

Review stale contacts, eligibility, and delivery errors.

Weak reads

Check timing, audience expectations, and sender recognition.

Weak clicks

Use one clear CTA and test the mobile destination.

Weak replies

Ask one specific, easy-to-answer question.

High opt-outs

Pause scaling and review frequency, consent, segmentation, and relevance.

Where the score ends

The Score Ends Where the Conversation Begins

A broadcast score explains what happened to the send. It does not answer customers who replied with questions, objections, booking requests, support needs, or buying intent. Dealism automation can handle consistent starting actions, while the AI Customer Agent continues the conversation using your business information. A person remains available when judgment is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the calculator free?

Yes. Enter campaign totals and calculate without signing up.

Which numbers do I need?

Messages sent, delivered, read, replies, link clicks, and opt-outs from one broadcast.

Why use messages sent for read rate?

It measures reads across the full original send. Some dashboards use delivered messages instead.

Is this Meta's official quality score?

No. It is a Dealism campaign-health calculation.

Can the score measure sales?

No. Track purchases, qualified leads, and bookings separately.

How long should I wait?

Use a consistent reporting window that gives recipients time to respond.

Can Dealism answer people who reply?

Once a supported WhatsApp channel is connected, Dealism automation and the AI Customer Agent can help continue those conversations.

Dealism replies the second they message, sounds completely human, and quietly closes deals in the background.
