Good to know

Before replying manually, turn Autopilot OFF for that conversation. Use either Autopilot for automatic replies or Copilot for human-reviewed replies to avoid overlapping responses.

Overview

Dealism includes built-in protections to help prevent multiple replies from being sent to the same conversation at the same time.

The main rule is simple: avoid manually replying to a conversation while Autopilot is handling it.

Built-in protections

When your AI Customer Agent is generating a reply, Dealism locks the conversation to prevent overlapping Agent responses.

Messages are processed one at a time within each conversation.

In Copilot mode, the Agent can generate a suggested response, but nothing is sent until you review and send it yourself.

Pause Autopilot before replying manually

If you want to take over a customer conversation, turn Autopilot OFF first.

The conversation switches to Copilot, allowing you to type your own response or use Generate for an AI-suggested reply.

When you’re ready for the Agent to continue automatically, turn Autopilot back ON.

Avoid overlapping workflows

Keep the response flow simple for each customer.

Avoid combining Autopilot with scheduled follow-ups or multiple automations that could try to contact the same person at the same time.

When you want more control over an important conversation, use Copilot instead of Autopilot.

Check Support Needed

Before replying to a conversation marked Support Needed, review the conversation history to see why the Agent requested human input.

Turn Autopilot OFF if you want to take full control, then send your response manually.

Simple rule to remember

Use Autopilot when you want the Agent to handle replies automatically.

Use Copilot when you want to review or send replies yourself.

Avoid having both automatic and manual responses handling the same conversation at the same time.
