Check Upload History after uploading a document to confirm processing is complete. If the upload fails repeatedly, try a smaller or simpler file, or add the important information to Knowledge another way.
Overview
If a document fails to upload to Dealism, first check the file itself, your connection, and the upload status.
In many cases, retrying the upload or preparing a simpler version of the document can resolve the issue. If the file still cannot be uploaded, you can use another method to add the information to Knowledge.
Check the upload status
Go to Knowledge > Upload History and find the document you attempted to upload.
Check whether its status shows Processing, Complete, or Failed.
If it is still processing, allow it to finish before uploading the same document again. If it shows Failed, review the file and retry the upload.
Check the file
Make sure the file uses a supported format and is not unusually large or complex.
If a large document repeatedly fails, try reducing its size or splitting it into smaller documents before uploading again.
For protected documents, remove any password or access restriction before retrying.
Retry the upload
A temporary connection or processing issue can sometimes interrupt an upload.
Check that your internet connection is stable, refresh Dealism if necessary, and upload the document again.
After retrying, return to Upload History to confirm that processing completes successfully.
Check the processed content
A successful upload does not always mean the document was processed exactly as expected.
Open the uploaded Knowledge and review the available content. Make sure important product information, pricing, policies, FAQs, or other details were captured correctly.
If important information is missing, consider providing that information separately instead of relying on the original document.
Try another version of the document
Some documents contain complex layouts, scanned pages, unusual formatting, or other elements that can make processing more difficult.
If the original continues to fail, create a simpler version containing the important text and try uploading it again.
For a scanned or image-heavy document, make sure the information you need your Agent to use is clearly readable.
Add the information another way
If uploading the document continues to fail, you can add the important information through another Knowledge workflow.
You can provide the information directly to DealOnca, add a clear FAQ, use an appropriate website URL, or create another Knowledge source containing the relevant content.
Focus on preserving the information your Agent actually needs rather than repeatedly uploading a document that cannot be processed.
Test the Knowledge
Once the upload shows Complete, go to Agents, select your Agent, then open Basic Info > Try Me.
Ask a question that should use information from the uploaded document.
If the Agent cannot answer correctly, review the processed Knowledge for missing, vague, or conflicting information and update it as needed.
