Good to know

Start your first live conversations in Copilot so you can review your Agent’s responses. Once the responses are accurate and consistent, enable Autopilot and continue monitoring Support Needed conversations.

Overview

Once your AI Customer Agent is configured and a messaging channel is connected, you can start handling real customer conversations in Dealism.

Before enabling automatic replies, confirm that your Agent is ready, test its responses, and choose whether you want to begin with Copilot or Autopilot.

Connect a channel

Go to Channels and connect the messaging platform you want to use.

For WhatsApp, connect your WhatsApp account using the available QR-code connection or WABA setup.

For Instagram, select Connect and complete the Instagram/Meta authorization process.

When finished, confirm that the channel shows Connected.

Check your Agent

Before launching, go to Agents and review the Agent that will handle your conversations.

Make sure its objective, tone, playbook, Knowledge, Strategies, and additional instructions are configured correctly.

Your Agent should have enough Knowledge to answer the common questions customers are likely to ask.

Test before launching

Go to Agents, select your Agent, then open Basic Info > Try Me.

Test common product or service questions, pricing, objections, and follow-up questions. Continue each test for several messages to make sure the Agent maintains context and follows its objective.

If something needs improvement, update the Agent’s configuration, Knowledge, or Strategies and test again.

Start your first live conversation with Copilot

For your first live conversations, start with Copilot so you can review responses before they’re sent.

Go to Inbox and open a customer conversation. Keep Autopilot off, then use Generate when you want your Agent to prepare a suggested response.

Review and edit the response if needed, then select Send.

This gives you a controlled way to see how your Agent performs with real customers.

Launch with Autopilot

When you’re comfortable with your Agent’s responses, you can enable Autopilot.

For an individual conversation, open the conversation in Inbox and turn on the Autopilot control.

To enable Autopilot more broadly, use the global Autopilot control next to the search bar on Web or from the Inbox toolbar on mobile.

Your Agent can then automatically generate and send replies to appropriate incoming messages.

Monitor your conversations

After launching, continue checking Inbox for customer activity and Support Needed conversations.

If your Agent requires human input, take over the conversation and respond manually. Use these situations to identify missing Knowledge or Strategies that could improve future responses.

You can switch a conversation back to Copilot whenever you want more control.

Improve after launch

Your first launch isn’t the end of Agent setup.

Review real conversations, update Knowledge when customers ask questions your Agent can’t answer, refine Strategies for recurring situations, and continue testing important changes.

This ongoing process helps your Agent become more effective as it handles more customer conversations.
